I mounted this on a drill press and used it for precise positioning of small holes. I did a little milling on a wood block to make some fixturing, but there is obvious play in the slides which is difficult (impossible?) to adjust out. I would say that it''s fine for nonprecise milling in soft materials, but as a precision positioner, it''s great.
